ESL Language Instructor/Teacher [Morocco]

 

Job Description Summary:

The instructor's primary role is to teach assigned classes using the Berlitz teaching method. They are responsible for maintaining student records, fulfilling administrative duties, and engaging in professional development activities. The instructor works closely with the Instruction Supervisor to provide counseling, feedback, and recommendations to students. They also contribute to program design and delivery. All tasks are performed within the guidelines of negotiated agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons using the Berlitz teaching method, tailored to the interests and needs of students, both at the Language Center and off-site locations.
• Incorporate learning technology into teaching programs as required.
• Keep student records and pedagogical cards up-to-date.
• Fulfill ongoing responsibilities within the Berlitz Learning Cycle, including assessing proficiency levels, providing progress evaluations and certificates, and conducting counseling sessions with students.
• Collaborate with the Instruction Supervisor to recommend program improvements and collect feedback.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Assist in promoting Language Center activities to customers, if needed.
• Actively participate in professional self-development, such as lesson observations, peer observations, and workshops.
• Use instructional and center resources effectively and responsibly.

Your profile

• You are a native or native-fluent speaker of the language you wish to teach
• You have thorough knowledge of your language and country.
• You have a university degree and, ideally, work experience.
• You possess strong intercultural and pedagogical skills.
• You are energetic, flexible and highly communicative.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract, Permanent
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: 9,000.00DH - 12,000.00DH per month
